MATERIALS REQUIRED:

You must bring pencils, notebook, loose paper, and your homework to class everyday unless indicated otherwise.

ONLY items necessary for this class may be on your desk.  I will confiscate any items distracting you from your work.

ASSIGNMENTS:

Assignments will be checked for completion on a daily basis.  The assignments must have the following information in the heading:

Name, Class, Period, Assigned problem numbers. Late assignments will be penalized.

DOING HOMEWORK DAILY IS CRITICAL TO SUCCESS IN THIS CLASS!

Note: A single absence on the day prior to a test or quiz will not excuse you from taking the test/quiz on the scheduled day.

ATTENDANCE:

Regular attendance and consistent study are two factors that contribute greatly to success in school. Attendance is expected.

***In order for this class to qualify for university admission a grade of C or better is required.  A grade of D will require you to retake the class in summer school.

              MAKE-UP WORK:

Make-up work is available for excused absences only.  There is no make-up work for unexcused absences or for suspensions.

You have one day for each day of absence to make up missing work.  See me after class on the day you return in order to arrange a time and date to make up a missing test or quiz.  Failure to make up work, test, or quiz in the required time frame will result in a zero for the work.

GRADING:

Academic grade is based on a cumulative points total determined by class work, homework, presentations, quizzes and tests.
